Opportunity Society
Renewing the socio-political promise.
A just society does not emerge on its own. It requires political decisions that empower people, especially where structures discriminate, and life chances are unequally distributed. Education, health, income and participation still depend too heavily on social background.
We work to re-establish the principle of equal opportunities as a guideline for sustainable social policy. For us, equal opportunity does not mean erasing individual differences, but creating fair conditions for self-determined life paths. To this end, we design policy concepts, open spaces for dialogue and initiate projects that demonstrate how politics can ensure fair access.
