Antonia Haase is responsible for the visual and design aspects of our communication matters and translates theoretical content into graphic design concepts.

She is responsible for the (further) development and design of our images, texts, graphics, and social media content. She has many years of experience in the advertising industry and has worked as a team and project manager in the areas of art direction, corporate design, campaign design, and print and online formats.

What motivated you to use your creative skills in the political arena?

I believe that design can be not only appealing but also effective. I am motivated by the idea of helping to make political content more understandable, accessible, and tangible—especially in areas such as social policy, which often involves people who do not have a strong lobby.

As a designer, what responsibility do you see yourself having in communicating political content?

Presenting information in a way that does not overwhelm people, but invites them; that provides guidance rather than excluding them. And communicating on an equal footing—especially with those who are not usually heard.

What would you have done professionally if not this?

I would probably have worked with people in general. I love making people laugh, making them feel good, and helping them in any way I can.
