Digital Realities
A space for new questions at the intersection of technology and society
Digitalisation has long become part of our everyday lives. It shapes how people work, learn, access information and communicate. It also changes how public institutions operate, how decisions are made and how participation is organised.
Social policy is not untouched by this development. Many of its underlying assumptions stem from a bygone era. Digital transformation creates new dependencies and inequalities, but it also offers opportunities to organise social relationships differently – and perhaps better.
We want to understand what this means for our society. We are developing initial answers and asking bold new questions. Through experiments, prototypes and open dialogue, we explore how social policy ideas can be reimagined and put into practice in a digital environment.
This focus area is not a fixed programme, but an open space, bringing together perspectives, sharing experiences and shaping the future collectively.
